Objective:

To plan and deliver the Enterprise Sales (ES) team summit in September as the final push to close the last quarter in 2011 having met its objectives. The summit for the sales team, sales team leaders and the wider cross functional teams was to be delivered without the use of PowerPoint and was to instil the feeling of:

  • Competition and ambition
  • Buzz and energy
  • Understanding the value propositions

Solution: a ‘hundred man event’

This was a 2 day summit for the ES team where the daytime sessions were delivered in the format of plenary, breakout, guest speakers and group activities – both days had different seating arrangements. The evening entertainment on day 1, was the ‘Value Awards’ in the format of the Oscars where teams were nominated across 5 different categories and winners announced on the stage.

Deliverers developed a comprehensive summit delivery plan to ensure execution of the event in two themes: Game On and Bling, for the daytime and evening sessions respectively. Collateral at the event were in line with both themes and ranged from registration name badges to leaders’ elevator pitches to banners to award plaques.
