Objective:

Communicating safety best practices in the rail industry is a daily necessity to prevent incidents and serious accidents. When heavy engineering is involved the risks are greater and more dangerous to keep the safety basics top of mind and applied into the daily routine. The change campaign was to promote safety to the UK workforce with the challenge to change old beliefs and attitudes about safety.

Solution: Safety with Attitude – Let’s Just Do It

Deliverers created a new range of communications posters to support the message for safer working practices. Posters were displayed in all train maintenance depots where over 1600 people are employed in the UK services organisation.

Winter accidents and serious injury can be avoided and the campaign message based on six topical themes reminded the operatives to ‘SEE IT, Clear IT', Clean IT, it’s about housekeeping!

Deliverers created the ‘Safety with Attitude-Let’s Just Do It’ change campaign as part of a tactical and communications programme of changing beliefs and attitudes for improved safer working practices.
